Pastor Timothy Brown
Timothy and Lori Brown live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina where they are raising their five children. The Brown’s are expecting their 6th child in April! Life is really high energy right now for the Brown’s! Timothy enjoys watching NBA basketball, working out at the gym, and trying out new coffee shops in different towns. Timothy is an extrovert who loves having meaningful conversations about life, leadership, ministry, and family.

Timothy is the Senior Pastor at Radiant Church which is located in Arden, North Carolina. Radiant Church is a thriving church that is leading people from darkness into light! Radiant Church is a loving community of faith that is making an impact upon the Asheville area and beyond. Timothy has served as the Lead Pastor of Radiant Church since 2016.

In additional to leading Radiant Church, Timothy has served as an adjunct professor of preaching at Columbia International University (Columbia, South Carolina), was on the board of directors at ABCCM, and is an active member of C12 of Western North Carolina. Timothy is passionate about preaching through books of the Bible, and is passionate about encouraging, equipping, and empowering people to live out their God-given redemptive potential in Christ.

Education Background
Timothy graduated from Columbia International University where he earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree with a focus in preaching. He also received a Master of Divinity Degree from Liberty University, a Bachelor’s Degree from North Greenville University, and an Associate of Ministry Degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible College.

Timothy is releasing two new books:
- Go After Jesus. This book is a fresh book on discipleship that is based upon one’s Christian identity, rather than one’s Christian duties. Doing should flow out of Being. Every believer needs to understand who they are in Christ. This book paints the picture of the journey of following Jesus with 6 identities that every Christian must embrace to Go After Jesus in their daily lives. This book presents discipleship as a holistic journey based upon one’s identity in Christ.
- The Power of YES, God! There have been numerous books that teach us to say “no” and how to set boundaries. All of these books have their place. In “The Power of YES, God,” Timothy empowers the follower of Christ to put their “yes” on the table whenever God calls their name. How would your life change if you gave God your “yes?” Have you put your “yes” on the Table for God?
Timothy’s Ministry and Life Highlights:
- Family Life. Timothy and Lori are passionate about their marriage and family! The Brown’s currently have five children-three girls and two boys…and drum roll, baby #6 is on the way in April 2024!
